The S401 is Salvo Studios' flagship product for the mITX form factor. Enjoy the ability to orient the chassis in two different ways thanks to the removable stands (thumbscrews) or update that old HTPC with the horizontal orientation of the S401 without the concern your airflow will be restricted.

- S401 case made from galvanized steel and powder coated fine texture (satin) white
- Steel side panels
- Steel vertical stands (2)
- Standard 16mm white LED power switch (installed)
- 300mm PCIe x16 extender (installed)
- C14 PSU internal cable extender (installed)
- 6 foot power cable
- Front panel USB Type-A/Type-C adapter (installed, 20-pin mainboard header cable included)
- All hardware to mount components (mainboard screws, 2.5" or 3.5" disk drive screws, PSU screws, GPU screws, 60mm fan screws, low profile side panel screws, vertical stand thumbscrews)

Known Incompatibilities
1. Mainboards with Built-in Rear I/O Brackets - Mainboards with built-in I/O brackets will not provide the flexibility required to install the mainboard in the S401. This was an unforeseen incompatibility due to the limited number of ITX mainboards on the market with bult-in I/O brackets. The only currently-known mainboard that fits this criteria is the Asus ROG Strix Z390-i, Asus ROG Strix H370-i, and Asus ROG Strix B360-i. However, Salvo Studios will not support any mainboards with built-in I/O brackets.
PSU Compatibility Matrix
Below is the compatibility matrix for the S401 and many of the more common SFX/SFX-L PSUs. All green highlighted models are fully compatible with the S401, all other models will require a short C14 extension cable that may be purchased either from me or through larger online marketplaces like Amazon. If you have a PSU that needs the short extension, please reach out to me before purchasing your case so I can confirm you will get the correct adapters to install your hardware.
