With this kit, the stock AM4 C7 (and C7 Cu) heatsinks will be rotated by 90-degrees. This results often in the heatsink fins being oriented parallel to the RAM slots where on the stock configuration the fins are perpendicular which means they blow hot air from the heatsink directly onto the RAM.
The kit includes two stainless steel adapter plates, 4 M3 screws, and a 3D-printed backplate. The mounting hardware from the C7 is NOT used.
